Hamburg Huskies before European premiere, Kiel Baltic Hurricanes under pressure

It is already a game to point the way of each team in group A of the EFL when the Hamburg Huskies meet the Kiel Baltic Hurricanes in the Hammer Park Stadium at 4 p.m. on April 23rd. For the team of Hamburg the derby is the premiere on the European stage.
After the loss versus the Amsterdam Crusaders the guests from Kiel are already under considerable pressure. Only with a victory in Hamburg, Kiel has a chance to defend the title. Therefore they are going accordingly motivated into the game. "It's more important how you finish something than how you start it. Two weeks ago we started very rusty, but in the game on Saturday we will definitely be a few steps further”, said Hurricanes head coach Marcus Herford.
Huskies sports director Patrick Esume expects a very different opponent: "The first game was not an indicator of whether Kiel was weak or Amsterdam strong. In the game of the Hurricanes a lot went wrong, especially the balance on the offensive has not worked. Amsterdam was perhaps stronger than expected, but would not Kiel made so many mistakes, they would have won the game. We must keep in mind: Here comes the reigning EFL Bowl champion ".
If the Huskies win the game, they play against the Dutch for a place in the final of the EFL. However, they have replace runningback Marvin Stüdemann and wide receiver Philipp Schulz due to injuries.
